Making the Transition
These early months have been busy and, at times, challenging for fourth graders as they have been making the transition into this first level of the intermediate grades. Much of the focus has been on responsibility for oneself as well as reinforcement of organization and study skills.
Learning About Our Community
In our "quest" to become this year's Wardlaw-Hartridge "experts" on New Jersey, students will be learning about their communities and our 21 counties. Their home projects about their community was shared with their classmates.
Meeting Our Seniors
On October 5th we met our senior buddies, Abby Rogers, Marisa Carlucci, and Ashley Martin.

We celebrated Chinese New Year with Ms. Hua Liu in her classroom.
And later that week had a special treat with Dr. Wenqing Feng in Miss Colandrea's class.
Fire! We had an unexpected event and Wardlaw-Hartridge students proved how they were able to respond in an emergency.

| What a great way to end the study of the Lenape! As a culminating project in our science unit on flowers we dissected a flower and identified each of its parts. |
